Launched by the Canadian Tamil Congress (CTC) and the North and East Economic Development Centre (NEED Centre), this initiative empowers women artisans across the Northern and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka, offering them a path to financial independence through the ancient craft of handloom weaving. What started with a vibrant fashion show in 2020 has grown into a global platform. With the opening of our first showroom in Mullaitivu, we are creating new opportunities for local artisans to share their craft with the world.

The Made in Mullai handloom initiative is created to empower women.
